Raenest is an innovative pan-African fintech company offering a global financial platform that enables individuals, freelancers, and businesses to manage money internationally quickly, easily, and at a low cost. Founded in 2021 and based in Lagos, Nigeria, the company was created to facilitate access to cross-border payments, multi-currency accounts, virtual and physical cards, and global money transfers for its users.
The platform allows users to open bank accounts in USD, EUR, GBP, and other currencies; send and receive payments from over 70 countries; generate smart invoices; convert currencies; and use internationally accepted payment cards. Raenest is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria as an international money transfer operator, with banking services provided by regulated partners in the UK and the US.
In 2025, Raenest raised USD 11 million in Series A, led by QED Investors, to accelerate its expansion in Africa (particularly in Nigeria and Kenya) and beyond (United States, Egypt), strengthening its positioning as a financial bridge between African and global markets.
