Kippa is a Nigerian fintech company founded in 2021 and based in Lagos, developing an all-in-one financial management solution for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Africa. The platform allows traders and micro-businesses to digitize their daily management practices through an intuitive mobile application. It covers essential functions such as bookkeeping, income and expense tracking, inventory management, invoice and receipt creation, and payment reminders. Initially, Kippa also developed banking services via "super agent" licenses, enabling users to perform basic financial transactions, but these services have been restructured or discontinued over time. The company's vision is to help African traders, traditionally reliant on manual systems, adopt simple yet powerful digital tools to manage and grow their businesses. Kippa was co-founded by Kennedy Ekezie-Joseph, Duke Ekezie and Jephthah Uche, who focused on a solution tailored to the realities of African SMEs.
